Teddy Bears

Teddy bears have been a source of comfort and warm fuzzy feelings since they were created in the early 1900s. They were named for “Teddy” Roosevelt after a famous bear-hunting incident. After that the teddy bear became a staple in children’s lives, and continues to be so. Collectible teddy bears are available online.

There are many very popular kinds of teddy bears available now due to some creative thinking. The “build-it-yourself” stores that revolve around stuffed bears are wildly popular, being a wonderful place where you can easily create personalized gifts. There are also other companies that send out the bear of your choice, usually along with something like flowers or candy in a “teddy-bear-gram.”

Because of these kinds of businesses, teddy bears are experiencing an explosion in popularity again. Thousands are bought each month, especially around the holidays. This popularity shows no sign of slowing down, so it looks like the bear is here to stay.
